✨ Special mitzvah that is performed from the beginning of the month of Adar. “1/2 of Silver Shekel” is the cost of 9 grams of silver (in March 2025 – $12 US, $17 Canada, 11 euros, 40 shekels, 1070 rubles)

🕹 The Promise of Rabbi Chaim Palagi: “Everyone who gives “Machatzit HaShekel” on a yearly basis is assured a place in the world to come, and he will not have difficult hardships this year. Even if a bad decree is written against him, G-d forbid, it will be canceled. He will not suffer financial difficulties this year. If a person is careful with this mitzvah every year, he will be rewarded with children and a long life.”
