✅In the synagogue, there is a custom that children approach their father, and he covers them with a tallit during the Priestly Blessing.
✅ This custom has no clear sources and is obligatory only for young children so they do not cause disturbance. Adults are generally not recommended to do this unless the father is waiting and would be offended.
✅When crossing in front of someone praying, it is allowed if there is no other way and the father is waiting.
