Years of Sacrifice | Rabbi Israel Yakobov
Rabbi Akiva’s wife believed in him before he knew how to read Aleph Bet. She supported him through years of poverty and spent 24 years apart from him while he studied Torah. When he finally returned with 24,000 students, his first words were not about his own success. He pointed to her and said that all the Torah he and his students had was hers. Her support made his journey possible.
